TENT STRUCTURE AT AL HASA

In Al Hasa, TMSI delivered a tent structure in PVDF fabric with a total area of 1,450 m². The project dates from 2023.

Tensile tent structures are engineered for industrial, remote-site and public-space use, and are designed to handle high loads and harsh environments. PVDF-coated fabric combines long-term UV resistance with architectural flexibility, so the membrane can be shaped into tent forms that provide generous, column-light covered space while holding up to the heat of the Eastern Province interior.

TMSI's in-house team covers design, engineering, manufacturing in the Dammam factory and installation, with fabric patterns cut and joined in the factory before delivery to site. Every TMSI tensile design goes through form finding and finite element analysis, and the resulting load calculations set the size of the foundations and steelwork and the pre-stress of the fabric.
